Volunteering
Friends of Maungawhau volunteers help with weeding, planting and nursery work. We usually work on the third Saturday of the month, meeting at 9:30 am either at the end of Batger Road off Mt Eden Road or in the nursery. Tasks and locations depend on the priorities at the time, the time of the year and volunteer numbers. Gloves and tools are provided.
